What Is The 11 Hour Work Week?
The 11 Hour Work Week is a major shift in one’s mindset. For as long as I can remember it was always graduate from high school, go to college, get a job, get married, have children and work 40 hours a week for 40 years and retire on 40% pay. That is the way it was and still is for many.
More and more people are realizing that plan no longer works. Those that do go to college are finding it harder and harder to find a job in their desired field and end up working either minimum wage or not at all. They also have racked up student loan debt that will take years to pay off.
Let’s take a look at the major generation classifications to get a better idea why the 40/40/40 plan no longer is the best choice.
First we have the Baby Boomers. The baby boomers are those born between 1946 and 1964. Most Baby Boomers followed the college route and worked the 40/40/40 plan. When the global financial crisis hit, it literally destroyed their investment portfolios and in many cases left them unemployed and staring bankruptcy and foreclosure eye to eye.
Then we have Gen X. Those classified as Gen X were born between 1965 and 1979. They like the Baby Boomers followed the 40/40/40 plan and were hit by the global financial crisis also. They however have a little more time before they reach retirement age in order to recover. But is the 40/40/40 plan the best answer?
Next we have the Gen Y and Gen Z. I will group both of these generations together. Gen Y or the Millennials as they are often referred to as, were born between 1980 and 1995, while those that are Gen Z were born in 1996 or later. Both of these generations had parents that believed in the 40/40/40 plan and many did go to college. One major difference though, both of these generations grew up with the Internet and the amazing advances in technology.
Those that are looking for ways to make money online come from all 4 generation classifications. The Baby Boomers and Gen X to supplement income, the Gen Y and Gen Z to live a life of doing what they want, when they want and without incurring substantial debt. That is why I created the 11 Hour Work Week.
The 11 Hour Work Week and Power 11
Power 11 is the system and when combined properly with the 11 Hour Work Week, it will break the mold of the 40/40/40 plan. No longer do you have to work 40 or more hours for 40 years to get 40% pay when you retire. The 11 Hour Work Week is a step by step system on how to build a lifetime residual monthly income working only 2 hours per day during the week and an hour on the weekends.
